MKU 24 G2 144

24 GHz Transverter

24048 ... 24050 MHz

The new design of our transverter for 24 GHz features better performance and many new functions.

Many components, like image frequency filter, low noise amplifier, power amplifier as well as the switching of receiving and transmitting path are now integrated. Through this innovation it is possible to build up a compact 24 GHz station. Only an oscillator module with 11952 MHz and a coaxial relay are necessary. The design of the LO frequency input allows the use of existing oscillators. The distance between the RF output connectors is suitable to the most SMA-coaxial relay. For supplying the relay there is a 12 V output on the transverter.

A bigger attenuator at the IF input port allows an input power of up to 5 watts. Self-resettable polyfuses prevent damages of the transverter module, especially if it is used in a portable station.

The small mechanical dimensions of the transverter, which is designed in SMD technology, allow the construction of a small portable station as well as a powerful home station.
